Ghostly experiences - 1

Dear readers, I have decided to post some real life experiences of mine as well as those which were reocunted by friends. Most of these incidents are from India. I will not claim them to be the absolute truth. But they do make you think about the unseen world.

By the way, I myself am not fully convinced about the existence of Ghosts in the manner that we are thought to believe. Are these simply a spiritual reenactment or are these really the souls of the dead? Or are these just demons or evil spirits? My research so far has led me to tilt to the last possibility but all of us should understand things and make our opinions for ourself.

This incident is an incident of mine. It happened nearly 12 years ago in the South Indian coastal city of Mangalore.

A bunch of relatives including my uncles, aunts and cousins had converged at Mangalore; where our grandparents lived. The house was actually in a town called Surathkal. It was a large house surrounding by a nice garden on all four sides. It was a good reunion and all of us had a great time just catching up with each other and hanging out doing the routine family bonding stuff.

The middle portion of the house acted as the living quarters. A small guest bedroom facing this west side and a bigger master bedroom in the middle. Most of us used to sleep in the middle bedroom while one aunt slept in the guest bedroom. There was a single bed there and above it was a window. That window faced out to a paddy field which was a little far away from our house and in the midst of that field was a very old temple and locals used to speak in hushed tones about strange things happening there and that one should never venture out at late hours in the night around those parts.

The "cursed" window from outside(Pic taken in 2006).

The paddy field and temple(Pic taken in 2006).

One of those nights was exceptionally hot and humid, Mangalore being a coastal city. At some point during the night, my aunt let out a terrifying scream. Most of us woke up, some went to see her. I was pretty tired that night, having spent most of my time in the day near the railway tracks that were being laid nearby. That went on to be part of the "Konkan railway" project.

Anyway, in the morning the facts were clear as to why my aunt supposedly screamed. She was sleeping on that bed on her back. She had kept the window open because it was hot. The window would have been just inches above her next region and she could even see outside to some extent. According to her, at some point during the night (around 2 am)
she woke up feeling uncomfortable. As she opened her eyes, she saw a woman standing right outside the window and staring sternly at her. She was terrified and rightly so..Who would'nt?

Just writing this gives me the chills. She was frozen for a moment and then gathered all of her energy to let out that scream which woke most of us. She had closed her eyes and by the time she had opened them, that woman was gone. Listening to this, I was scared out of my wits. For the next few nights nobody slept there. That window was shut tight.

My grandmother made light of the issue. But something told me that she was perhaps hiding something from us. From the time I used to visit that place, I always felt the chills even walking around that place after 7 PM.

In 2008, when I visited my grandmother I had to sleep in that room. I did not have the guts to sleep on my back nor open that window. It did help as the glass on the window was opaque and also the curtains were closed. I slept on my stomach and inside the bed sheet.
Needless to say, I was praying till I fell asleep.

Exactly what was it that my aunt saw that night? Was it a ghost/evil spirit trying to warn us about something? Or was it her imagination? Why did I feel restless and fearful in that room and generally about that side of the house? Psychological or truly supernatural. I don't know yet but I do hope to find out some day.

Alien sighted in Brazilian forest?

From the Huffington Post.

An extraterrestrial is seen in a Brazilian rainforest and arches its back conveniently right in front of a group of children being filmed.
Well, we've seen stranger things, but this is just the latest in a series of videos all coincidentally presented on the Internet by Mike Cohen of All News Web, which bills itself as "the world's only inter-galactic daily news service."
So, why would anybody doubt this video, reportedly taken by a couple of unnamed British tourists in the Amazon jungle?
"It's an example of a found artifact, where you look at a video and see something that's not necessarily there, like seeing animals in the clouds," suggested Marc Dantonio, chief photo and video analyst for the Mutual UFO Network, the largest privately funded UFO research organization in the world.

Different types of ghosts in India - Part 2

Dear readers, here is part-2 of the different types of ghosts in India. I will soon begin explaining them in more details.

Part -1 (one of the most viewed post in this blog) can be found here.

Pretas are the roaming ghosts of Hindu men who died by violence and whose corpses were disposed of "unceremoniously."

Mumiai is a Indian poltergeist that invades homes throughout Bombay.

Virikas are small spirits that appear surrounded by a reddish mist and make guttural sounds.

Bhoot - A Common Ghost and a departed ancestor (who has not become a ghost) are on the same level with regards to their spiritual strength. The main difference is that a departed ancestor troubles his descendants making use of his give and take account with them, while a ghost troubles any human being, using its black energy regardless of them being their descendants.

Hadal(Female Goblin) - They have a strong odour around them, like that of a rotten egg.
Generally, they affect the person without possessing him or her, i.e. they do not enter the body of an individual.Their main job is to provide material required for doing black magic, for example bones, skulls etc. to the sorcerers (māntriks) for their rituals, by digging out bodies in the cemetery.

Penchapechi (found in Bengal): An unusual form of ghost, the Penchapechi take the form of owls and hunt in the Bengali forests. The ghost follows hapless travelers through the woods until they are completely alone before it strikes. Unlike other ghosts, the Penchapechi actually consumes its victims, feeding on their body in an almost vampiric way.

Chetkin(Witch): A foul smell is associated with the presence of Witches (Chetkins).People possessed by Witches (Chetkins) when manifest laugh continuously. They are skilled in assuming various forms. They enter a person's body and cause accidents. They then take control of subtle bodies of these people to get them to work for them. They also train them in performing rituals to harness black energy. They are capable of taking complete control of a house and can then devastate the entire family living there.

Banamati (Indian witch craft) incident from 2005

A chilling account of this witchcraft practice from India which occurred in 2005.

A six-year-old girl was kidnapped, skinned alive and then beheaded.

GULBARGA: Salitha, six-year-old daughter of a Dalit couple at Khajuri village in Aland taluk of Gulbarga district, has become the latest victim of the bizarre rituals of the practitioners of Banamati, a form of black magic practised in this region.

Study team
A team from two social organisations, Bharata Jyana Vigyan Samiti and Samudaya, that visited the village to study the mysterious death of Salitha a couple of days ago has come out with details of how the girl was done to death after being kidnapped allegedly by the henchmen of the practitioners of Banamati.
The members of the team included president of the samiti K. Lingappa, its secretary Shivasharana Malegaon, president of Samudaya Shankarayya Ghanti and its secretary Srishail Gooli.
They told presspersons here on Wednesday that Salita, who was kidnapped on November 6, was killed by Banamati practioners.

Head not recovered
Mr. Gooli said the police were yet to recover the head of Salita.
The torso was recovered from an agricultural field on the outskirts of Khajuri village on November 10.
Inspection of the decomposed body revealed that the culprits had first cut her little finger on her right hand, removed her skin from the shoulder to the hip even as was alive and then beheaded her, Mr. Gooli said.
Later, the killers cut the right hip, thigh bone and right arm before leaving the body to rot in the field, Mr. Gooli pointed out.

Rituals
It is said that Banamati practioners use the bones, the little finger of the victim and the head of the victim in the night long rituals in secluded spots. Salita, who was born at an auspicious time on a Sunday six years ago, was kidnapped on a Sunday.

Third victim
Mr. Gooli said Salita was the third girl to fall victim to Banamati rituals in the district in the past one year and the police despite having evidence of the large presence of Banamati practioners and their henchmen have not acted against them.
Last year, a girl was murdered at Honnakiranagi in Gulbarga taluk, and in April this year another young girl died in a mysterious fire accident at Mantigi village, which is just 8 km away from Khajuri village. While the police arrested a few persons in the Honnakiranagi case, all those arrested were released on bail. In the Mantigi case, the police belatedly booked a case of murder after the samiti and Samudaya built up pressure on them and the incident gained publicity after it appeared in newspapers.

Accused yet to be arrested
However, Shivamma, the main accused in the case, is yet to be arrested.
The police have also not registered a case against Pujar, who is allegedly the main conspirator in the Mantigi case.
Even in the case of death of Salita, the police initially did not book a missing person's case when the parents approached them.

`Police indifferent'
The samiti and Samudaya members said the indifferent attitude of the police in dealing with the Banamati menace had emboldened its practitioners.
They said the police should immediately act against those practising Banamati in the district.

UFO sighted over Australia? One of the best UFO videos ever!

I got this from a Canadian newspaper reporting about a UFO sighting in Australia.
The video taken shows a UFO over the skies of Adelaide and it has pulsating lights unlike any aircraft that we know of. The video itself is pretty good and can make most skeptics think twice.

 http://www.agoracosmopolitan.com/news/ufo_extraterrestrials/2011/07/30/319.html
Without much doubt this viral UFO sighting is one of the better pieces of UFO video evidence that has been captured on video.

On December 7th 2010 a massive thunderstorm was fast approaching the city of Adelaide, South Australia. Hearing the weather forecast and seeing the thunderclouds beginning to scatter across the sky, the UFO eyewitness decided to set up their tripod to capture some lightning footage. Only a minute later, to their surprise a strange flying object appeared in the sky.

At first the eyewitness thought that the object may have been an aeroplane until they noticed that the object had no wings and then realised that the object's flashing lights did not have the resemblance of pulselites. According to the eyewitness, the back-and-forth pendulum swing of the object's lights became very vivid, and then the colour of the lights even seemed to change. As is visible towards the end of this UFO capture, the eye witness also makes mention of the craft's very close proximity to the nearby lightning, recalling lightning leap vertically into the sky only a short distance away.

On December 29th 2010, the Australian media (having witnessed the substantial growth in interest surrounding this UFO footage) released a newspaper article about this video. The feature article describes the strange capture and the widely varying opinions of sceptics and believers. The article also mentions that the Adelaide Airport General Manager of Corporate Affairs had commented that "Pulselite units were used on aircrafts flying over Adelaide." This is no doubt a strong indication that someone went to great lengths to seek a senior opinion on the subject of aviation (in direct response to this video).

Is this just another hoax or could it be true? What are your thoughts on this sighting?

Another Australian newspaper seemed to give a rational explanation...A new kind of lighting system called "Pulselight" to keep birds from striking the aircraft.

http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/ipad/the-truth-is-out-there-and-here/story-fn6bqphm-1225978305535

One non-believer offered an explanation to the December 7 UFO sighting, posted by FluffyJet Productions.
The non-believer posted a video last week of a Pulselite unit being used on a plane and said such warning devices are now used on some planes landing in Adelaide to avoid bird strikes.
Adelaide Airport general manager of corporate affairs John McArdle said Pulselite units were used on aircraft flying over Adelaide.
Mystery solved?

So UFO or new aircraft lighting system? You decide..The truth is out there!!!

Ghosts of 9/11 victims?

The 9/11 terrors attacks were no doubt among the most evil crimes perpetrated on innocent victims ever. More than 3000 people lost their life in the attacks. Most of these victims were snatched away from their life and deprived of their existence forcibly and cruelly. Their families had to bear this unimaginable loss.

Did some of these victims return to visit or comfort their loved ones?
Here is an article from the New York post which seems to answer in the affirmative.

http://www.nypost.com/p/entertainment/tv/ghostly_zero_spirits_FCiQYB1FXmh3XPZ8fRsQzK

This week, seven relatives of people who died on 9/11 were given unprecedented access to the hallowed space at Ground Zero -- for a special on A&E.
With thousands of relatives and every network scrambling for a way inside the memorial a month before the official opening, why were these select few given this unprecedented access?
Believe it or not, it was because of their previous unprecedented access. No, not to living politicians -- but to their dead relatives.
Yes, all of these people have been visited or had signs from loved ones who died on that tragic day 10 years ago.
NOW: Jacie (with mom Lisa) sees visions of her dad.
Jacie (with mom Lisa) sees visions of her dad.
The Port Authority, apparently, isn't all steel and steely reserve.
"Beyond: Messages from 9/11," which will air on Sept. 10, grew out of 9/11 widow Bonnie McEneaney's book, "Messages: Signs, Visits and Premonitions From Loved Ones Lost on 9/11" (Harper Collins).

McEneaney based the book on her experiences with her husband, Eamon -- before and after he died -- as well as other 9/11 relatives who, like her, had signs and visitations from beyond the grave when they most needed comfort.
Bonnie's first experience was a "bright wind" that came from a tree and encircled her like a tiny, gentle tornado.
I was invited to join the group as we walked to the site with tears flowing freely as we stood at the "9/11 National Memorial Waterfalls."
Jacie O'Brien was just 4 when her dad, a broker at Cantor Fitzgerald, died on 9/11.
Jacie told me she had seen her dad many times on the swings in the playground in the years after 9/11.
"He liked to tell me knock-knock jokes," she said. She told her mom, Lisa, that he was with "the boys" from work. When Lisa showed her a photo of the other dead men, little Jacie named each one -- by first and last name.
Mark Reo, who lost both his brother John and his brother-in-law John Swaine on 9/11, came to meet firefighter John Morabito, who has spoken out about his experiences that day.
Morabito has revealed his experiences -- including how, at the end of that first horrific day, he crossed the Brooklyn Bridge accompanied by an African American construction worker who told him to keep telling the world the story of that day. Turns out, his companion was not alive and was only seen by him.
Reo, through tears, told me that after 9/11 he went to the train station where his brother and brother-in-law used to commute together and yelled into the wind, "John, you've got to give me a sign!"
When he turned the corner, a large cardboard box was in his path and, as he stood there, a shaft of sunlight fell directly on the letters imprinted on the box. "Brother" was spelled out in bright blue letters.
Life is very strange indeed. Let us pray that these folks find peace and comfort and also that the world does not get to suffer such horror ever again!

Bhangarh fort 2 - India's most haunted place

Dear readers, the most popular post in my blog remains my old post about Bhangarh.
Since that was an older post and did not contain much information, I thought it best to revisit this topic with a much better analysis of this place.

Ghost stories and haunted places have no dearth in India. Yet Bhangarh has managed to stay on top with respect to being the most feared and popular haunted place. I think most of the horror and fear is accentuated because of the warning board put up by the Archaeological Society of India(ASI).
I mean when the government itself says "Get the hell out after sunset"..what else can you hope for?
The board basically says "Entering the borders of Bhangarh before sunrise and after sunset is strictly prohibited."

Some pics of this dreaded place:
Dare to enter inside???

I have not personally visited Bhangarh but want to in the near future and that will definitely be posted here. But the following should give you all the basic information you need about Bhangarh.

1. Bhangarh is a town (actually ruins) in the northern state of Rajasthan in India. There is a great fort here(actually ruins of a fort) which is supposed to be haunted.

2. It was ruled in the 1600's by the relatives of the general(Man Singh I) of the great Mughal emperor Akbar.

3. In the late 1700's a famine killed almost all residents and the survivors moved to other places and thus it was deserted and became a ghost town.

4. Actually it became a real "ghost town" since the locals now believe the whole place is haunted.

5. Some say that a sage or religious man named Guru Balu Nath had a small living area(hut) nearby the palace and said that the height of the palace should not be raised such that its shadow might fall on the hut. A descendant of the ruling family actually increased the height of the palace and this made its shadow to fall on the hut and thus Balu Nath's curse came true and the place was haunted by spirits.

6. Some also say that a tantrik(Indian witch doctor who dabbles in black magic) cursed the place after the princess who he had cast his eyes on, rejected him and was the cause of his death.

7. Nowadays people hear strange sounds, light and see figures moving around at night near the fort.
Many have reported supernatural activity near the fort and I will not be surprised if some scientific community has not already done research here.

8. Among the scary incidents reported (After 6 PM):-
     a. Real scary female screaming is heard(The princess?)
     b. Loud maniacal laughter(Tantrik or the baba?)
     c. Lights going on and off
     d. Sudden loud wind and dust storms occurring all of a sudden.
     e. Ghostly figures and shadows moving around.

9. Many have also reported the feeling of horror and dread near the ruins even in the day time. Some passages are dark without light and it is scary to even think of going inside.

10. The ASI says that the "official" reason for the warning is that wild animals could be present after 6 PM and since the area is not well lit, the place may also present a  safety issue.
But ASI who are you kidding, we all know very well why you have out that notice.

11. Local legends speak of so many brave men who tried to go here at night and never returned!!!

12. Bhangarh is so scary and has a such a reputation of being haunted, it always turns up in the list of most haunted places in the world!

Check this list out and see what distinguished company Bhangarh has!!!
http://listphobia.com/2011/01/11/10-scariest-haunted-places-of-the-world/

I will surely visit this place and try to be here after sunset....But remember most people try to check out haunted places at night in groups...Remember the true test of a haunted place is going ALONE!!!

Be sure to take a video camera though...So that if you do not return, then we can at least see what killed you.

More on Bhangarh in a later post. For now please comment if you have anything to add to this.

Planet Nibiru: part 1

Quick note: I am back after a 6 month hiatus...Thank you all for the continued support. I will endeavor to post more often now onwards.

The hysteria surrounding 2012 has reached a peak in the recent years especially with the release of the Hollywood blockbuster in 2009. When people began researching this on the internet, another thing caught their fancy....The supposed arrival of a hypothetical rogue planet Nibiru.

For the rest of us like myself who devour conspiracy theories and read the works of Zechariah Sitchin and Erich Von Daniken, Nibiru has been an old acquaintance.

So what is Nibiru?

Nibiru is the name given to a planet which according to many people, is on a collision course with Earth. There are some who say it will pass by Earth but the resulting gravitational forces will rip our planet apart.
Most theories suggest that Nibiru is on a highly elliptical orbit around the sun..approximately taking 3500+ years for a revolution. Yet others suggest that it is a rogue planet which is just wandering into our solar system from places unknown.

Almost all theories agree on one thing. It is coming to end life on the Earth.

A search on youtube will yield so many home made videos about the coming to Nibiru to Earth.
This is the most popular one.

Most scientists believe that there is a lot of scientific evidence that suggests that there is no Nibiru out there and even if it is present, it is not coming anywhere close to the Earth.
Their main arguments are as follows:

1. If an object that large was coming towards us and expected to hit in 2012, we would see it by now.
2. An object with a 3500 year orbit seems highly improbable..
3. Such a large object passing through space will destabilize surrounding objects due to gravity...If it were to enter from the outer solar system, all the planets would be knocked off their orbits.

Of course the supporters say that space agencies especially NASA have been covering up the truth and that telescopes have confirmed a large planet headed towards us. This has not been released to the public because of fears of mass hysteria just like the movie "2012". It is said that "South Pole telescope" was built for the sole purpose of tracking Nibiru.

Some also claim that "Nibiru" might actually be a comet named Elenin which is supposed to come very close to the on 16 October 2011. Some people have gone as far to say that the "ELE" in "Elenin" stands for "Extinction Level Event"....Sounds very scary...but it could be a close call indeed.

A pic was posted claiming to be a NASA photograph of Nibiru and this stirred the internet quite a lot.

But this was proved to be actually a star called V838 Mon.

So is Nibiru really heading towards us? We can only hope that it is not and speculate.

More on Nibiru, 2012 and Sitchin in another post.

The tower of London

The tower of London is perhaps so synonymous with ghosts that people tend to forget its historical prominence. The tower has a long and bloody history of its own and understandably is a famous tourist destination in England.

The most interesting thing to note about the supposed ghosts of the tower of London is that there are many ghosts in fact numerous ghosts that are supposed to have made this tower their abode. This is an interesting case in the paranormal since usually most haunted places have one ghost or one horrifying event in its past. Executions, tortures, murders and numerous other depravities have taken place here. The tower of London has been a silent witness to many acts of horror and seems to be adding ghosts to add to its already large collection of specters.

So let us examine a few of these supposed ghosts....lost souls who seem to have consigned themselves to a fate of roaming these walls and showing themselves once a while to the unsuspecting visitor.

The tower which is actually a castle was built in 1078 by William the Conqueror. Since then the tower has played an important role in the history of England. Famous historical figures like Richard the lion heart, Charles II, Henry III and the infamous Henry the VIIIth have lived here or have performed official duties here. The tower was also used for other purposes such as armory, prison etc...

The Ghosts:

1. Anne Boleyn: She is by far the most famous ghost of the tower. She was the second wife of Henry the VIII. It is said that he was unhappy about the fact that she could not give him a male heir. So he leveled charges of treason (punishable by death) against her and she was beheaded inside the tower on 1536.

Since then her ghost has been reported seen by many witnesses throughout the centuries. She mostly appears to guards or sentries. The most gruesome detail is that she is mostly seen headless holding her head and mourning. It is said that she was put to death wrongly and her spirit wants justice. Her ghost sightings continue to the present day.

2. The countess of Salisbury: Margaret Pole the countess of Salisbury was another victim of Henry VIII. She was charged with being a traitor and sentenced to death in 1541. She did not get the luxury of having a swordman to execute her like Anne Boleyn. Instead she was to be executed by the common axe wielding executioner. She maintained her innocence till the very end and her death was very sad and tragic. At the age of 67, weak and ill she was dragged to the killing block. Because of her condition, the executioner could not aim correctly and hit her shoulder on the first attempt. It is said that it took 11 blows from the axe to sever her head. It is needless to say how horrific it would have been and the great amount of pain and suffering she went through.

It is said that her ghost also roams the tower and sometimes is seen with other ghosts who wail understandably at the fact that she was innocent. Many others claim to have seen her execution being re staged. Her story is one of the most tragic stories of the tower.

3. The young princes: These two children were the sons of Edward IV. They were Edward V aged 12 years and his brother Richard aged 10 years. Their uncle the Duke of Gloucester however had made plans to ascend the throne after his brother. In the pretext of providing security to the young princes, he had them locked up in the tower.

For many days the brother were seen by many people until their sightings started becoming rarer. Until one fine day, they disappeared. It is said that their uncle asked one of his loyal henchmen to eliminate the princes. They were smothered to death with pillows in their sleep somewhere around 1483.

It is said that they were buried in the tower itself but were later removed and interred elsewhere because the king was getting nightmares. In 1674, their skeltons were found buried under a stair case in the tower. The then queen Elizabeth II ordered that they be reburied with respect in Westminster Abbey. In 1933, modern(for the time) tests were carried out and the results were inconclusive.

Their ghosts have been sighted on many occasions and usually appear to be in fright clinging to each other. Their tragic tale and violent death coupled with being buried in anonymity adds further sadness to their story.

It is said that after they got a respectful burial, their ghosts were rarely sighted thereafter.

4. Other royal ghosts sighted:
  • The Ghost of Catherine Howard
  • The Ghost of Jane Rochford
  • The Ghost of Lady Jane Grey
  • The Ghost of Guy Fawkes
  • The Ghost of Sir Walter Raleigh
  • The Ghost of Thomas Becket
  • The Ghost of King Henry VI

Other ghostly things seen are anonymous ghosts of ladies wearing gray or black, a group of ghostly soldiers, a ghostly funeral carriage etc.

A final mention could be made of the Salt Tower. This is one of the most haunted areas of the Tower of London complex where even dogs will not enter this ancient scary building, and some of the guards have reported that this unseen spirit has tried to throttle them.

In 1864, a soldier whose post was to guard the Queen’s House at the Tower of London, saw a apparition so real, that after ignoring the soldiers three challenges, he charged with all his might at the intruder with his bayonet, only to go straight through the figure.

The salt tower is the sight of some of the scariest ghost sightings in the world.

With all the countless acts of bloody violence committed inside its wall, the tower remains to be a vault where the souls of those unfortunate victims still reside because it seems they still have some unfinished business in the world of the living.

Why ARE thousands of birds falling from the sky? 2012 effect?

This is a really frightening but true occurence. It is straight out of Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds".

There is talk of secret government experiments with death rays, collisions with UFOs, a demagnetised Earth’s core — and even the Second Coming of Christ.

It’s not the first occasion that America has been well and truly spooked by a series of bizarre occurrences, but is there reason to be worried this time?

The fish died first, with an estimated 85,000 carnivorous drum fish being washed up along a 17-mile stretch of the Arkansas River last Thursday. Local experts could not recall a time when so many had died so suddenly and, because it was confined to just one species, blamed disease.

Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1344888/UFO-strikes-A-military-death-ray-Or-coming-Armageddon-Why-ARE-thousands-birds-falling-sky.html#ixzz1AaQ8q6FD
Read below for analysis and commentary.

Analysis:

Is this a precursor to the supposed end of the word in 2012? Birds and Animals have heightened senses of premonitions according to scientific research. Birds and Animals have been known to be agitated long before some horrible natural disaster strikes.

Or is this just a random case of coincidences? But how can this explain mysterious bird and animal related phenomenon happening the world over? These things are happening across vast geographical distances(United States to New Zealand - Refer to map above) for us to relate it to any kind of naturally occurring causes. Is there something else at work here? Something more deadly and sinister?

What could be the other causes of such behavior?

1. Experimental weapon testing: In the past, scientists have warned that experiments with "Death ray" guns - weapons which use a directed beam of energy could be interfering with the flight paths of birds. Could this have happened here. Then there is the top secret HAARP project of the US government. This is a top secret weapon which primarily uses elements from nature to create artificial atmospheric conditions to create disasters like earthquakes and tsunamis. The existence of such a project is officially denied. But fact is often stranger than fiction.

2. Nibiru is approaching us: Nibiru is considered to be a rogue planet which is supposed to be on an intercept course with Earth. When it approaches Earth in 2012, the resulting gravitational disruption will totally destroy Earth or so the 2012 end of the world theorists say.
What if this is really true and the effects of that approaching rogue planet is already being felt by these birds?

Scientists say that there cannot be any such planet out there and that by now we should have seen it. Yet the believers say that the governments know about this planet and are hiding this information from the public.

3. UFO activity/ALIENS: Are alien ships responsible for this. Who knows what kind of energy they output which is disrupting the directional sense of these birds/fish? Or is this some kind of mass experiment? Is this the beginning of an alien invasion? First the birds, fish, then the animals and finally the HUMANS!!!

4. The Earth's core has slowed down: The revolving Earth's core maintains life on the Earth. Is this slowing down? The premise of the film "2012" was that the Earth's core was slowing down. Are these birds and fishes sensing this already?

Remember that the fast rotation of the core provides the magnetosphere around Earth which repels harmful solar radiation and protects life on this planet. Without this protection, all life could vanish in an instant.

5. Religious beliefs: Many religious members perceive such phenomenon from the context of their dogma such as the second coming of Christ etc...

These are a few of the supernatural/paranormal theories for these bizarre and mysterious phenomenon. Of course there could be a valid scientific explanation.

But as 2012 comes nearer, such incidents are bound to make people think twice. Is 2012 really the end?
